Cat eyes

I have just read that cats eyes are built from 15 layers of glistening cells, which make their eyes very efficient mirror. it is a mechanism which preserve the light and enhence their night vision.
My cat is still hiding most of the time and I am not sure, yet, which color are her eyes... well, I know it's green, but i don't know the exact color.
